More and more, the buck seems to start and end with teachers.


We seem to be the only ones held “accountable” for all that goes on in our classrooms, and it is frustrating!


It’s become the norm to send a child to school and hope for the best.

    On the other hand, it’s entirely possible that the parents who aren’t involved with you at school, or extremely involved in other areas. Maybe they are coaching Little League, volunteering at church, or running a Scout Troop. It could be they are overcommitted in other areas.

    Still, that’s no excuse not to respond to an email.

  2. That is the story across the world. Parents, think a lot of times, that their responsibilities lessen once they have ensured their child is getting education. But active participation in the process on their part makes so much of a difference!
